Man. I love video! Those are great TZ. I see you have moved onto providing soundtracks also! V. cool!

Its just a pity that i managed to f**k up some of my recording yesterday. I am majorly p*****D off at that. The mortuary stuff was classic.

Anyway, that was great.

Why is it that Glasgow health board can do anything to their property. Are there no safeguards. They can mutilate and neglect important buildings:Gartloch, Ruchill etc. Buildings that make a positive contribution to the city. Look at the Royal, love it or loathe it you have to admit it makes a dramatic impact, towering over the Townhead interchange. Yet the powers that be seem determined to "encase" this structure until it is no longer visible. The Western is another example of insensitive "new" build. What the Victorians built was a gothic "masterpiece" which was further complemented by the University and art galleries. This important vista along Gilmorehill has been obliterated with the 1960s hospital.
I suppose we should be grateful: They are both still standing, others have not been as lucky, the number of hospitals lost in the last 30 years is frightning. The maternity hospital at Rottenrow being a recent example.
Would it be cynical to suggest a possible motive of money?

Its ashame digital cameras were not invented before the developers got their paws on the old leverndale hospital. it got set on fire many times over the last decade. and eventually the main hall area has been demolished.

The developers took loads as well as Historic Scotland.
The only ones I have are when the development was taking place.
