Very very rare for this time of year:

Image

As you can see... One didn't quite make it to the nest.

Have to be very quiet lest I startle them and they take flight:

Fascinating!

Nice one TZ. I know where that nesting site is, but i'll keep quiet incase anyone tries to steal them.

Here's another oddity, that there's probably a perfectly reasonable explanation for, but is odd none the less.

Image

These painted footprints are next to the Hilton. They start from right beside the wall of the Hilton, no paint spilled, nothing, and continue over the pavement, barrier and two lanes of road. They end under the Kingston Bridge approach.

Odd, but strangely good.

Maybe it's a webcam, and there's a site out there crying for vistitors to visit and watch the Lauriston Garden Art Project take shape.

I found this pretty odd 2 seconds after I took it!

Image

Please believe me this has not been Photoshopped or altered in any way, apart from a resize, it's just how it came out of my wee digital.

Were you moving as you took it? I had a similar effect on a Turbostar that shot straight past me, all the doors looked bent at the bottom.

Got it in one. I was in our rescue boat, and my own bow wave hit the boat as I pressed the shutter.

Don't know if it was a real project then was abandoned or whether it's a joke or something. The CCTV warning seems real though, there is a wee camera in a mesh cage trained on the site.

On closer inspection, we can see the buckfast brigade have given their verdict

This seems to be quite common on waste ground in the Gorbals...On what was McKinlay st, just off Pollokshaws rd i found these

I suppose they are mini allotments, these ones actually look cared for unlike the others.
I see dead buildings...

Trouble free cats in Carmyle Ave (don't miss the one climbing the rope).

Same house has a sign declaring 'Area 51' on its gates :?
