I hate to be picky, but the first two pictures from Shazzababes look more like wrought iron than cast iron. 8)

there are some very interesting railings in hamilton, at hamilton college the railings from the hamilton palace, the real one not the nightclub ;)

but the dead brainy builders put them on upside down!!!

will get some pics tonight for you, they are on bothwell road in hamilton.

I've heard that upside-down story before, but I don't think it's true. They look the right way up to me.

Did you know that apart from that wee lodge they moved, those railings are the only bit of the Palace left?

I went to Hamilton College, and I was told they were upside down too.. didn't take much notice of them though, they looked alright to me :wink:
