I originally took these with the intention of stitching them together to make a big panorama, but my photoshopping skills back then were non-existant, and I didn't think it would look too great with the sky being that dark.

I've still got the full set of pics though, so might give it a go someday.

Bonus points for anyone who can guess the location and the year

Can't remember the name of the street, but it looks as if it was taken on that wee hill near Renfrew St and Hill St.
On second thoughts, maybe not. Somewhere close to Garnethill and Renfrew Street though methinks.
As for the year... are you extracting the urine?

With apologies for stretching everybody's screen..

Click here for 3mb, 6382 x 700 pixel version, so you can see just how bad some of my joins were.

Also available in absolutely the absurd resolution of 16,138 x 1,770.

I'd quite like to go back sometime and take the pics again on a nicer day and with a nicer camera (without autoexposure)

Were you on top of the "Kenny Club" building on Cambridge Street?. Big Office Block, built as a shopping centre and offices in 70s. Had a place were you could cash in cancer-coupons for many a year... Don't know what's in there now. A haberdashery shop?

You can't really see much detail in this, unfortunatly by the time you scale it down.....

Bingo. It's Fleming House, corner of Renfrew Street and Cambridge Street. Started life as an office block, but they're converting it to (surprise surprise) luxury flats. Also contains a fabric shop and a furniture store, and on the ground floor, a bookies which has drunk people outside.
