Mmmm,

Girl in the centre; check

Pair of legs at bottom right? That looks like reflective road signs on the barrier.

Left hand side: could be a girl in a white 'puffer' jacket, could be white bin bags on the kerb.

Did you guys train with the RAF at photo reconnaissance or something ? All I can make out is a vague figure in the middle, and I can't even tell if it's a woman :?

Actually I definitely don't think the right hand side is a woman - probably a reflective barrier. The middle looks like a woman, and looks like she has dark skin too. The far left it too tight to call.

Here's the cleared site looking westwards just before construction began. Are those deep excavations for the Multi's I wonder?

Great snap that Pgcc93. Think you're right about the multi's, maybe a Past and present assignment there?

What a great photo!

I think (and it's only a guess) the deep indentations is where the McIver House/main bus area foundations would be, though I may be wrong. I do know the started building McIver House and the multis before the main body of the Anderston Centre though. (i've seen pictures in the Mitchell supporting this).
Also noticed from this photo Holm Street links up with Douglas Street, and Pitt Street adjoining Argyle Street.
