East Kilbride town centre

I dont think there is any need for Town Centre Bars or Clubs The Town Centre makes enough profit from sales of goods in the shopping centre

Ah to be back in the glory days of EK town centre, the hub of my nightlife for about 3 weeks in 1993.....

Who remembers going to see Z list ex Neighbours 'celebrities' in Splash?

Or the matt black and chrome excellence of Downtown (Miami)?

The hotdogs being sold at the bottom of the stairs in the Stork Club?

Or the indie excellence of Crystals!?!?!

I was more of a Hamilton nitelifer myself........

Beer in Fingals/Scoundrels/Tatlers, and then on to the legend that was Virgo's/Circles/Parklane!!!

A quick stagger up to the Tabak at the train station, and then a taxi to oblivion.

Magic......................

Interesting post mrbrain. Have you been to "all" the bars and clubs,
have you met "all" the stewards. Do you personally know "all" the
stewards educational level. Is it true that "most" of the stewarts work
for the council cutting grass.

Have you considered a job in market research... I eagerly wait the
collective demographics... Preferable in a nice coloured
piechart, bold colours only please...

Crayons are acceptable, but points will be deducted for going outside the lines.

What was the name of the pub in the Mushroom, was it not something like H Jays ? Maybe I am just showing my age here.

Never knew there was another pub called My Father's Moustache apart from the one in Aberdeen (now The Monkey's Noose I think)!

What a fantastic name for a pub! ::):

Don't you think entertainment is a good that the town centre should provide?

Am I alone in wondering what on earth happened to Mrbrain in East Kilbride ?
I haven't been there myself for years ( although spookily I'm collecting a parcel from there tomorrow) but I don't think the place was that offensive !
:?
have I missed anything ???
