Crusty's Tunnel under Bothwell St - it's lasted a long time and cleared up (ahem) what that building is on Renfrew Street.

Nice one folks, keep em coming. Just to recap, and in no particular order, we so far have:

Past and Present
Sculptures and Statues around Glasgow
Subway pre- and during modernisation - in colour!
Political Grafitti
Clyde Bridges
Shop Fronts
Bombs over Glasgow
Hidden House in Woodlands
Tunnel under Bothwell St???

Threads Im liking and considering are....

Wally Closes (cheers Allydoll  )
Glasgow Graveyards
Glasgow Inner Ring Road and Glasgow Highway Plans - c1965

Getting bored linking now so Il just list....

Signs, Fountains (needs more!), Hidden Glasgow War Memorials and something about disused railway lines and stations.

There was another thread alongside the Wally Closes one showing potential before it fizzled out: The Wee Door
If anyone is planning to do a write up of the secret life of the Glasgow Tenement close it might be worth chucking into the mix.

Bombs over Glasgow and Clyde Bridges are first equal.

Yeah that was a great one that I haven't come across in a while. And it was started on my 18th birthday too. :D

Renfrew Airport wins for me, a subject that interests me greatly and a thread which has some fantastic investigative work in it.

It just doesn't get any better than that for me.

Part Present wins by a mile. There must be a book in there somewhere.

I'm with JohnR. The 'Help! Where is this?' thread is one of the funniest and informative things I have read anywhere.

And how often do you get strong opinions debated in an amicable fashion on the net, and grown men admitting they were wrong? :D . Thanks to all who contributed.

Past and present is defintely one of my faves! Any threads about Drumchapel always catch my attention too as I lived 'up the Drum' from 1977-1998 so all the old photos of Drumchapel are pure nostalgia for me!! I also love the thread about the street underground (Grahamston)....urban legend or the truth  ::):

Some cracking threads - looks like my reading for the next few days is sorted. Tried to have a look at the Past Present one and there are more missing photos than there are photos still there! Would it be worth trying to get them back online?
