It was. In Govan I believe. *waits for corrections* It's been well made, but I'm not that keen on the music.

Yes it is Glasgow...one of my mates was up for a part, but lost out to that McCafferty bloke (top off, knocks over can). You will have seen him in various other commercials, and of course the horrific 'Pasty Faces' movie..... enough said.

Aye it's Glasgow right enough. The last scene is filmed at the back of the Anderston Centre facing onto Argyle Street. It uses a view of the Anderston high-rise flats/balconies and the "cheap £7 a day" car park, though for some reason they seem to have moved the "maximum height" sign from there and stuck it on the "goal posts" opposite.

Edit.. That's such a pish description. here's a screen grab.

I'm afraid I've been unlucky enough to work with him on several occasions. Film & tv stuff. I don't have anything pleasant to say...

So he's still an arrogant wee fanny then? Why am I not surprised?

When I was at college with him, he was so sure he was going to get the main part in our last production. Our lecturer had told us that whoever got it would not do any othersmall parts due to it being too big a part. He was SOOOO confident the part was his.

I got it. And our director was so sure I could handle it she gave me three smaller parts to do as well.

He went into a huff for a week. Wouldn't talk to me, and did the part he got really badly.

Yuo would think a part called "The Singer" would do a lot of singing, as the part demands. Oh no. He spoke almost all of it. Tube.

Wasnt that one withdrawn?

ISTR it had a tag line "This is where I took a beating" (or somthing along those lines) showing - somewhat unwisely - the location of the murder of asylum seeker Firsat Dag.

I think all of those PS2 ads were in Glasgow. There were a few scenes. I remember the one showing the empty street, St. Vincent St. looking west up the hill from George Square or thereabouts. They wouldn't have even had to close the streets to film it, it really is that empty at half past four in the morning (summer, probably a Wednesday Morning, it was always quietest on a Wednesday morning...).

The Carling one shows many areas around Anderston like Pitt St.? outside Telephone House etc., but whereabouts is the scene where they kick the ball through some girls window? I thought it was Duke St. at High St. but it looks too good to be there.

The bit where they kick the ball through the girl's window was filmed at Govan Cross. They also filmed at Braehead.

The Virgin Radio adverts featuring that a***hole from Coldplay are filmed in Glasgow (only seen them at the pictures). Kelvin Court is in there as well as bits of Partick?
