hahaha... cheers Rondo 8O G-man, the pics are all taken with my own fair hand... no tripod or anyfin

We didn't get any pics of the Synagogue; it felt inappropriate to ask, but heres a few others.

Renfield St Stephen's.
This church had its steeple blown down a few years back... act of god! but has now been fully restored.
The steeple fell from this end
Image

To this end! It destroyed the roof, the floor, the organ, the pews... need I go on!?
Image

The silver-ware survived tho! The wee wooden cross in the middle is actually made from the smashed up pews
Image

Another relic... :wink: :twisted: ::):

St Aloysius

Beautiful church although half of the interior is covered in scaffold. You can just see a wee glimpse of whats waiting to be uncovered

Now that my home help's in, I can post some more church pictures.

Here's the modern "stained glass" in the chapel of Renfield St Stephen's in Bath Street

Image

And here's the more traditional stuff above the altar in the church itself

Image

Make up your own joke. This sign - along with nine other "thou shalt not" commandments - was spotted in St Andrew's RC Cathedral ...

While I'm waiting for the kettle to boil for my Horlicks, three more photies, this time all of the St Vincent Street Free Church, designed by "Ecky the Greek" Tamson.

The fabulous steeple, reflected (and a bit refracted)

Image

The north front, au naturale

Image

The west front, reflected (did someone say "rule of thirds"?)

Image

Right, that's my bedtime.
