GANGS OF GLASGOW
For more than 100 years Glasgow was known world-wide for its gangsters and
villains and the city's notoriety was sealed by the publication of the novel 'No
Mean City' in 1935. Bob Wylie delves into the city's archives to investigate
the truth behind the origins of Glasgow's violent reputation.

At least it's Bob Wylie who's made the programme, not some hack from the Metropolis. That way we might just get a balanced account rather than some totally biased shock horror story about how awful Glasgow was and is.

Why would a gendarme from the French capital's undergound train network want to make a programme for Radio Scotland about Glasgow gangs?
