Glasgow Clippings/Adverts

Amazing what you find when you're having a rummage through your drawers. This is a newspaper clipping from the Daily Record dated Friday, August 20, 1982. It was amusing at the time. Maybe it still is.

O.K., here's another one. Slightly more upmarket this time. From the Guardian - don't have a date but I think it's around 1987/1988. Nothing to do with Glasgow of course, but what the hell.

Pre-war reminiscences of the Barras in a letter to the Glasgow Herald dated 8th April 1983. Note the posh references to "Barrows" instead of "Barras".

One for the anoraks - a laptop computer as advertised by Victor Morris in the Glasgow Herald, January 27th 1983.
