Looking at the map which Sir Roger DeLodgerley posted, what was the name of the station which used to be on Gower St. at the bridge which crosses over the Paisley Canal Line? The station building on the bridge still exists [it is now a shop] but of course everything else has gone. Was this the old Bellahouston & Dumbreck Station? And did the old Paisley Canal Line continue beyond its current terminus in Paisley or did it stop there?

Alycidon wrote:Dug through the collection and found these two of Smithy Lye, taken a good while ago so the area is probably well overgrown by now.
Taken from a train from Central to Ayr. The bridge in the background is Shields Road

Taken from a special on the line denoted "Thro Sdg (Lye)" on the track plan posted by Sir Roger DeLodgerley
