Are those buses parked in the warehouse in Hillington?

My office was in Hillington in one of those warehouses and when I was out fixing one of the company vans, someone came in asking me where the bus museum was... I just gave him a blank look

Personally I quite like the deep throb of a 16CSVT (class 37) pushing out 1750hp. The 6LDA28B (class 27 - 1250hp) which although distinctive is less impressive. But if you want the full vibratto a pair of opposed piston high speed Deltic diesel engines (3300hp in total) is still the one to experience at close quarters! 8O

Love the snap of the Deltic - from the days when leaves or the wrong type of snow never presented any problems. Such a far cry from today...

I noticed that "First" were advertising for Minibus Drivers recently, what do they use Minibuses for?

Shipping drivers round and sometimes passengers when the night buses blow a gasket

Alycidon, good call on the Deltic front but I think you'll find that when it comes to loco porn, you will be hard pressed to beat one of these....

Aye and here's the lovely ladies at tram driving school. After an hour of swinging the wee handle about, they got 10 minutes with the stripey traffic light then 6 weeks of how roundabouts work.

Scotrail employ a fair amount of lady drivers now, and also conductor guards.
