AFAIK the "Pokey Hat" building is the United Co-operative Baking Society's Bakery, now gone as far as I could see.

Thats a good example of how conversions of that kind should be done. The exterior of the building is almost identical to that in the earlier photo

Just a pity it isn't actually used as a workplace anymore.
If all work buildings are being turned into flats, where do people actually work now?
