Underground Resistance live @ Pressure 28th October

Postby dogbert » Thu Oct 06, 2005 10:32 am

Dunno if this is the right place to put this, but I just found out that Underground Resistance - one of Detroit's most influential techno outfits - are making an extremely rare live appearance at Pressure @ The Arches on 28th October.

For anyone into 'the scene' these guys belong to, this will be a pantwetting prospect! I got my ticket ;)

ps I'm new here so if this is in the wrong forum, apologies!

This sounds really good. How much per ticket?

£18:50 plus booking fee :o

Bit pricey but definitely worth it if you're a fan :D

Shame it's in the Arches though :( Would've been nice to see them in a smaller venue like the wonderful Club69 :D But that's just wishful thinking....

Hey, did anyone see Juan Atkins at 69 a few years ago?? Now that's what I'm talking about! Being just 10 feet away from the Godfather of Techno was pretty sweet :D

it's in Paisley, in the basement of an Indian Restaurant ;)

Run by the guys from Rub-A-Dub records in Glasgow, been going for years now and is always a good night out :)

Of course, have had a the odd bad experience - like the time a few mates and I got a taxi through there only to discover it wasn't on that night :). A little consistency wouldn't hurt ;)

ach, it's part and parcel of the underground scene I suppose

very handy to go for an Indian meal then a club night

have you been to Basura Blanca, under Hotel Brunswick? - I went there once in September - it was a dub night - very good indeed
