Damn! I wish I'd thought of that! It's cheating, mind!

(clue: it's done via a website, and you can write anything you like on the wall)

Anyone that cant see the glasgow on the bottle top - adjust your monitor contrast (like I had to). I like the composition here and the fact that it's not in Glasgow is nice - like you were out of town, found the bottle and though of us  . Thanks

Please PM your delivery address to sharon and we can despatch the first part of your prize.

Special Commendation for these runners up:

HollowHorn *superb effort withover half the entries*

I liked the use of a real person and Watt Brothers - a Glasgow institution. Also your bouncing banana avatar makes me laugh - so that earned you extra points.

Nice bit of heavy industry there, a picture that says alot without saying much - or something like that...

Grubby, dingy, dirty, bogging, weathered. The essence of the site. Nice one.

Well done to everyone that participated - your all winners (in your Mothers eyes at least).

Love Craig xx

:cough:

"Unaccustomed as I am....."

What? I don't get to make an acceptance speech? Just pm your address to Sharon????

Seriously, folks... I'm dead chuffed. The manky bottle now resides on my pal's kitchen windowsill (hope she's washed it). Maybe I should nick it back and we can have it engraved with the winner's name for all future HG photo comps?

(Oh, I've just been informed ye's arnae getting it!)

I'm glad you won, TCM, your submission is by far the best. No offence to everyone else but, I think it blows us all out the water.

I knew when I saw it that it would be the clear winner.

Well done! :D

Thanks to our judge too, Craig! ;)

Besides I can always appreciate my 'Glasgow on the Tuscan coast' effort myself! ::):
