I was sorry to hear of the death of Bernie Nolan.
She always seemed such a lovely lady and I saw her last year at the Opera House in Belfast when
she was in a production of the musical Chicago.
Sorry if this is not the right place for this but I didn't wish to start a new thread.

I believe I may have posted in another thread about BB creams.
I'd had to Google to see what BB stood for but it seems I'm already out of touch and not only has there been CC creams but now there are DD creams.
So BB stands for beauty or blemish balm and CC stands for colour control.
I wondered what DD could possibly stand for. Double Diamond works wonders?
DD sounds like you're shopping for underwear or something but actually it is a dynamic do-all cream.
So that's everyone up to date now.

I got a nice pair of grey leather boots today reduced to £14.99.
Wasn't really looking for anything but just thought I'd have a wee wander in to see what there was.
Really prefer knee length or ankle boots but at that price I couldn't leave empty handed.
Not so keen on calf length.

As I say to Herself repeatedly - a bargain is only a bargain
if you actually needed/wanted it in the first place; otherwise, it's just a waste of money!
Sorry Dot!

Well I will admit my other boots have seen better days but I hadn't set out to buy new ones.
Just happened to be in town returning some items to another store.

Not sure what Bridie has been doing during last few months but I'm happy to say I've moved away from Belfast and now
live near Bangor. Not too far from Belfast and so far it's all good.

I got some Yankee candles today (large) reduced in price and will give some as gifts for Christmas.
I mean the official ones and not those sold by supermarket who sell a range under name of Yankee Candle
Home Inspiration. Not that there's anything wrong with them just prefer real McCoy.

A lil off topic but girls apart from the usual Ebay or Amazon...where else can my wife sell her wedding dress?

I've heard of people selling dresses in shops selling second hand or what some call preloved clothing. Perhaps a search on Google to see if there is one in your area. I sold mine in a shop which sold second hand and end of line clothing.
Also some people sell privately via classified adverts in local papers.

There is also a Preloved web site
