Walk - 25th Feb 17 - From Tradeston to Govan in the 70s

Postby poodiecat » Sun Feb 05, 2017 10:23 am

Let's visit the places from the Stenlake Publishing book by Peter Mortimer and Duncan McCallum, and what better place to start than at the Laurieston with its wonderful interior.
Meet there for a catch up from 11, walk starts at 12 noon and the plan is to head towards the Old Toll Bar and then follow Govan Road to Govan Cross.
If you have any old photos, prints, memories or maps, please bring them along for sharing.

As always, everyone is welcome.
It's just a ride.
