Postby Vinegar Tom » Tue Jul 05, 2016 6:05 pm

Hi folks, I will be on holiday for a bit, so agree amongst yourselfishes a suitable Saturday and time in August.

The first Saturday in August , 11:00 (am!!) suits me, but please go away if you can't get out of bed in time (That means you " "Hairy" Hilter !!!!!!!!!!!! :D )

Extensive reading list concerning all books that MUST be read prior to admission attached below ( and obviously each of the 15 OS revisions for each ward covered as well; I'm sure everyone has them. Everybody like me does.) :

Heya folks,

I grew up in Cambuslang so will be attending this walk. I have provisionally booked either the first or second Saturday in Augast as leave.

Hi Folks, an update to the walk now suggested for Sat 6 August:

"A relaxing walk around the less obvious parts of Ruggy & C'Lang. Come and see: chromium works, a shipyard, bricks, Corpy Tram remains, bricks, back lanes, ironwork, mediaeval Burnside, bricks etc. All Welcome. Meet at Rutherglen Station at around 11."

I have a story about rationing and oranges and a war time plane crash. The old farmer said it should not be written down and could only be passed on face to face.

Yes. Technically that IS bribery. NOT criminal though, so sue me if you like in the Civil Courts. Easier to come along on Saturday at 11:00 though.......

Hi All.

I have just heard from VT that this walk has had to be cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances.

VT says he will reschedule it in due course and sends his apologies for the short notice.

Thanks

John
