Sounds plausible, and as it doesn't present a direct threat to the general public it might not be considered to be "in the public interest" by NHSGG&C Communications Dept..

The test, and what the 4 hours applies to, is disposal. The SG isn't unique in failing this. The old A&E and the Western had a habit of bumping patients to the Medical Assessment Unit (in the former Beatson Building) if it looked as if the 4 hours would be broken. Many a night I've spent there.

A sudden decision to open a Clinical Decisions Unit made last week. Opened yesterday, visited by the First Minister today
