Tapas tonight: prawns in chilli and garlic; potatoes bravas; chorizo in red wine and a green salad. Lots of plonk.

Made shackshuka for breakfast this morning. It's an Arab/Israeli dish of eggs baked in a sauce with onions, garlic, peppers, tomatoes, chilie , sugar, thyme, bay leaf, cummin and served with bread to dunk in the just-set yolks and mop-up the sauce. Great start to the day.

I wasn't particularly hungry, so I just had a hot cross bun, lightly toasted, with strawberry jam.
Another sunrise with my sad captains, with who I choose to lose my mind,
And if it's all we only pass this way but once, what a perfect waste of time.

I went out with mum earlier, and we nipped into the hotel along the street for a wee feed.

She had haddock and chips, while I opted for a rather nice BBQ chicken burger.

Tonight it's courgette fritters then hake fillets (from Tesco) with green beans.

Something light and inoffensively bland I should think. Considering I spent half the morning communing with Bert, Ralf, and Hughie down the ol' great white telephone. :(

Maybe the chicken burger you had the other night wasn't as 'nice' as you thought!

Would something I ate on Friday take that long to disagree with me, though?
