Hole in the ground where the Office Block and Learning & Education Centre is to be based.
To orientate, top is the corner of INS building.
To right is new multi storey car park.

Just to confirm X was demolished as the new Lab Block sits just behind that.
O the old pharmacy has also been demolished along with as you say L. That's where the Education Centre and Office Block are going.
A bit pedantic but T is really the Surgical Block. A&E and Ortho OPD were late additions and are really only joined by a connecting corridor. I would really treat them as a separate building.
I'm sure you know this but W, General OPD, was once the nurses training school and E was the nurses home, I used to live in it from time to time a long time ago....
Great pictures....did you take them at a weekend as it looks very quiet...

Thanks. Yes it was a weekend, but it kept pissing down so I gave up before I covered the whole site.
I just copied the information from the "planning your visit" type pamphlet - I don't know the SG very well at all, but I could certainly recognise the former nurses home as such.

Interesting photos, Stevie.
I can imagine the clock tower building going the same way as Bellsdyke hospital:

It was originally supposed to be a car park but GCC withheld planning permission. It is now going to be used for the office block, I think, though the education centre is definitely in that space.
