Where do you get the Smokies from? Fancied getting some for ages but there is nothing in my local area.

Night off from cooking after a terrific Valentine's Day lunch at Tinto, the new tapas place in Uddingston. Uddingston has several good restaurants these days.

Egg in a cup? Do tell, please - never heard of it. (Apart from yer usual boiled egg, for the having of with soldiers, of course.)
All the world seems in tune on a Spring afternoon, when we're poisoning pigeons in the park.

In our house, egg in a cup is put cup on the gas hob, add a nob of butter, melt it, add 2 eggs (or whatever your preference), stir until done to taste add butter and salt as to taste and eat and enjoy. Probably not the healthiest dinner but absolutely bloody marvellous. :)

No, were they doing that? Just happen to see the Salmon in Lidls, at a good price and already have the recipe in my head from before. Did they do it the same way? Pan fried?

Tonight, for us Roast Chicken, savoury rice, broccoli and stuffing.
Knocked up a chicken curry with tomato, ginger, cumin and turmeric for tomorrow's tea along with some wee nan breads.
