Not yet! There's a few farms I'd like to check out including Sauchs just off the M80 but just haven't had time.
Been too busy doing all those Past-Presents! :D

But which transmitter Dicky? there are four up there now :D Is it the most southerly one?

Another one I noticed whilst out & about on Monday; Forrestdyke farm, which lies to the east of Forrest Road between the M8 and Forrestfield on the A89

I was too buggered after some hill walking to wander over to it but maybe next time - unless somebody beats me to it ...... :D

Here`s some pics I got of Broompark Farm from Barrhead Road at the weekend.

I also visited Kennishead Farm and was of the same ilk as you Marcia they could be twins in so many ways even down to the same bricks in the construction.

I was going to put forward Orchard Farm near M8 Eurocentral as being abandoned, however will have to settle for derelict (It's not far off it!) from closer inspection as i drove past it looks like its still ‘in use’ to some degree as storage. Possibly just need to get Colin and Justin to do a bit of decor and possibly a new roof? :D

If I get the chance when i’m out and about on my bike i’ll drop in and get some close up pictures, this one is courtesy of Bing.

Just out of interest as well there’s this nice 3D demo of the M8 completion project which shows the farm, and also means that they aren’t planning to flatten it – suppose if it was derelict they wouldn’t hesitate to run a bulldozer over it!

Saughs Farm

Amazing that this ruin is only about 50m from the M80.
There are two buildings about 20m apart.

North Building...

South Building...

I don't know how old it is but it's on this 1890's map...

Anyway worth a visit with the bonus of some nice views on the way back...

Good yin Matt.

Now we know whats across the fence there - no more sneeky life threatening glances when trying to stay alive on the M8.
The south building looks a tad different from a traditional farm building though, big window, waist high sill? Big lum?
