Not forgetting Mr Showbiz DickyHart on vocals. Your some chanter big fella 8) ::):

Apart from the shit service and the issue of the mortgage/bill when it arrived £337!!! 8O :?:  Still convinced we got ripped off even after it was amended to a more realistic amount!

It was not a bad night. Coulda did without the Karaoke blaring out. It would of been nice to have had a bit more of a blether.

PS: Who was the bearded magician that looked like a serial killer :?: ::):

Nah, we did OK... We got away with a £25 costing deal for just over £17...

Of course, mentioning that we were a table full of journalists probably helped a great deal in the negotiating process. I didn't say much... But what I did say really helped I think??

The, er, slight overrun meant that I had to dash off to let my poor dog out for a piss, let me know if the 20 quid I left requires any topping up!

How on earth did they justify the first bill they produced, though? I only had two paid for drinks, and one of them was a Coke, and it's not like we saw any waiters often enough to order more than two drinks each the whole night??

When's that interesting reinterpretation of Cheeky Girls going online then?

Oh, I remember something else now!!

When Daz and I got out the pub and walked to the club, some cheeky wee ned was RUNNING down the street full force with two Officers and a police van after him.

We watched his gracefull evasion of the law with much amusment... Appluasing as in a drunken / drugged stupour he veered off course a little, went smack into a metal railing, bounced off and struck a lampost with his head.

One resounding 'DONG' noise that sounded like an old timey clock tower announcing one o'clock later and he picks himself up and runs off.

How the guy wasn't knocked out / killed I dunno.

Must be the invincibility potion (bucky).

Sorry I missed out on this last night. Flipping exhaust came off the car on the way home and I was a little stuffed. Oh well, next year I guess..
