St Andrew's Day walk, Sunday 2 December, 11am

Postby Ronnie » Fri Nov 30, 2012 4:56 pm

Celebrate St Andrew's Day with a Saltire-shaped walk across Glasgow. Meet 11am at Cowcaddens Subway, cross the town and end up back in the centre for caffeine, cakes or carlsberg around 1pm.

Indeed, on both counts.

I'm sure there must be a mathematical proof somewhere for a Saltire-shaped route.

There will be helpings of the traditional HG 2nd of January Hunter's Tea on offer, allegedly.

As you'd expect from Dr Ronnie another interesting, informative and amusing walk

Many thanks enjoyed it immensely even without the "tea"

Yeah, but only in the proper context, i.e. babies. You don't have to smell like that all the time.

Another splendid walk, guided by the mighty Dr R. Next walk will be the legendary HG 2nd of January one.

Not just hanged, it it appears to be hung by a meat hook in it's back. This must be the Calton, no?

had it been the calton then it would have been hung by the tongs not the meat hook methinks.
