You're not supposed to.

I thought the winner of the previous best mode of transport in Whiteinch the girl who turned up in a pony and trap had been trumped by the cars in the photograph. Whilst extravaganzas in holy communion dress wear are now commonplace Whiteinch saw the first spotting of a veil which lit up courtesy of a double A battery. I understand the the current influence is Big Fat Gipsy Wedding.

To the casual observer it looks as if all first communicants have been dressed from the pages and maids bridal wear section but guilt ridden Catholics insist the white clothing is merely a symbol of purity and that the girls are not Brides of Christ. This phrase used to be exclusive to nuns.

Now if you promise to bless yourself and stand at the right times you can have a look at Catholic Answers for current debate.

Bet you didn't know Chucky married a tim.

Thanks for posting the photo of the old cars, my post was to point out to Dexter that it was a wedding which was taken place and not as he stated a First Holy Communion. If anyone turned it into a religious discussion then it was the aforementioned Dexter

OK. This isn't old but I've not seen anything like it. It looks like the tailgate opens to take a wheelchair.

just consider this a different angle if it's been posted earlier.

Not Tracy Island but Pinkston Road, Port Dundas.

Seems like more than a shade of Duplo to this design of Camper Van.
Stand to be corrected but I think it might be based on a Ford Ranger.

The brick building behind, I'm told, is over 150 yrs old, used to
J. Grant Builders Office with Joinery Workshop, but they closed a
while back. Cannot comment on the output of the Chinese Take Out
shop, Lian Lee now in situ.

Is it just me, or would you want to screw this Moonrover hard through
the Trossachs, merely to check its road handling abilities.

Brgds,

I know the post was a few years ago, but I can identify this strange motorhome. It is called a 'Starcraft' motorhome, the name of the company which manufactures the rear section out of Glass Reinforced Plastic (GRP). The front section is based on the MkV Ford Cortina, with the rear section of the Cortina removed. These motorhomes could be constructed on a DIY-basis, with the donor car and GRP section purchased by the DIY builder.

I pass the showroom on Woodlands Rd occasionally, and occasionally they do have something nice and/or interesting in. Last time I passed they had a Jag XK120 in, with a Porsche 911 across the road, and a wee Mini Cooper as well. :)

1992 Magni Sfida, Moto Guzzi based special

I restored it, finished last year. Took me 2 years on and off and more dosh than I want to think about too. To prove just how stupid I am, I'm working on another similar one.

Hi Eggman

I don't think I have any that really show the state of it, the reason was I never intended it to be a full restoration, it just ended up that way. It wasn't super bad but when I started to strip it all down the more I stripped the more stuff I found needing attention.

It was taken to pieces the frame and a whole lot of other stuff was powder coated. Engine and gearbox were stripped to the casings and the casings professionally cleaned. All new seals and a lot of the bearings in the engine and gearbox replaced along with new swinging arm and steering head bearings too.

The old wiring loom was junked and a custom loom made.

I could go on for some considerable time but your probably asleep already.

If I come across any "before" pictures I'll post them up.

Thanks for the compliments

Spotted this in Queen's Crescent the other week. Slightly battered, but kinda matched the slightly faded grandeur of the locale!
