HG Clyde South bank walk - 23rd June 2012

Postby Monument » Tue May 08, 2012 10:53 am

Dr Ronnie will lead a midsummer walk along the south side of the Clyde, from the weir at Glasgow Green to Govan Cross, taking in numerous sites of interest along the way.

Meet at the MacLellan Arch, Saltmarket at 11am on Saturday 23rd June.

Sounds like another excellent day par excellence with added excellence thrown in for good measure with a sprinkling of excellence on top. Dr Ronnie = Cliff Hanley+Matt McGinn+Jack House+The Laird o' Coocaddens+Jack Milroy+Russell Hunter+The Mitchell Library all distilled into one big bouncy entity.

Original time reinstated.

Swords optional, unless we cross Glasgow Uni cloisters at some point.

At my age I didn't need a midnight walk, when it all starts to get threatening most of you look like you could move faster than my wee legs would.

Goodie back to original time plan on making it, see "all the usual suspects" there

I'm about as agile and athletic as a loaded barge. I have to rely on my superior weight to power ratio to topple over and squash the buggers.
