The "f" word down here in Fermanagh.

I'm ignoring the issue as i don't think it'll make the slightest bit of difference- they'll go ahead with it anyway.

I see that NI has the highest rate of vacant shops in the UK though the number of shoppers was up by 7%
for period from November to January.

Wonder will many people get jobs when the Titanic Building is up and running.
Lets hope they make a better job of advertising and interviews than with the Erne Hospital.
(Bridie - I read your comments on the other thread. It sounds pretty shocking and shambolic to me.)

This story appeared in January this year about the protestors in Belfast who seem to be part of the same organisation
that were camping outside St. Paul's in London.

http://tinyurl.com/7e2lo4q

The protestors in London have now been cleared from outside St. Paul's but protestors in Belfast are planning to stay
put and open a cafe and a drop in centre.

Will be interesting to see how they can open a cafe in a building they don't own and without planning permission.
Some people do agree that it's not good to have abandoned buildings sitting doing nothing but I can't imagine
how this will unfold.

I am curious as to what is going on across the road from me as I have seen a Police car parked there for three days on the trot starting on Friday. On Saturday I saw a man getting into their car and he wasn't cuffed but then Police car parked in roughly same place before lunch on Sunday.
Keep watching news and looking at BBC website and didn't hear anything of great excitement.
There weren't a great number of storylines and maybe it is connected to the badger baiting story.

A few months ago some thing similar happened along the street from me an old lady was receiving threats and the police took them to be serious enough for them to have 2 cops in a car for 12 hrs through the night for about a week.

Must be approaching summer when you get a nice day like we've had here and you see a fat bottomed girl
in skimpy shorts with plenty fake tan slathered on the legs. ::):

My neighbour who is retired was sitting out enjoying the sun with a Guinness in his deck chair this afternoon.

Not been sunbathing but certainly warm enough to sit out.

Two people have told me there is to be snow in Scotland later this week. :o 8O ::):

Today it has been mostly cold, wet and miserable with one or two moments of sunshine.
Too bad it was also the day for Belfast Marathon and glad I wasn't out in it.
Starting to brighten up a bit now.

22C today and at one stage it rose to 25C.
Summer is here or as some would say it is exam weather.
