Hiya, i'm dogface and have been prowling around on here for a wee while now - amazing site, love all the history and urban legend...
I'm a fifer (a nice bit, mind you) and have been down in england part time the past few years but want to be back up full time, near my family / friends / somewhere that feels like home!
Some of the stories have scared the life out of me mind you

some stuff I wish I'd never read! Haha! (Half joking, but that's probably just me being a wee 'feartie'

) Although I did have a giggle about the saracen street 'zombies'...
If I have a question to ask on an old thread that's not directly related to the OP but is related to the conversation, is it better to ressurect that or to start a new specific one, or to PM the specific posters?
Also, if I do actually move to Glasgow, I'd not be able to afford the likes of the west end / partick etc - having been on a wee explore in Ibrox / bits of Govan, it seems a bit mad that more people don't want to live in those beautiful sandstone tenement buildings especially when they're that close to the subway... I love the mix of industrial / victorian architecture, too, really really interesting. Reckon as a female in my 20's (and not a local) I'd be safe enough? I've a wee dog I'd need to walk at night unless I have a garden - could always get a doberman aswell
Anyway, I've had a good search around as it is but it seems like areas in general can change pretty quickly so I might start a thread on 'Cheap and nice' places to live near the city as all my glaswegian mates tell me not to live anywhere they're not living, basically!
Waffled on far too long but really enjoyed reading about people's experiences / the history / myths and legends / culture / pubs!
