And, clearly, you are being allowed to exercise that right on this splendid forum.

Part of the Admin task list on HG is to ensure that related posts are contained - wherever possible - within the one thread, and appropriately titled. The latter of which has so far been applied to this thread, and the former of which may well be in future.

I think, and hope, you know that's nonsense. All the 'free expression' in the world is of little value if it's filed under some heading which bears no relationship to the content, and where few can find it.

If it's any consolation, HG isn't alone in seeking to disconnect the content of discussion group threads from the title and in allowing moderators free rein in such behaviour.

This could all get very circular, but if ever there's been a "I think, and hope, you know that's nonsense" then that post is it, surely.

1 : The content was filed under a heading which, although it admittedly bore a relationship to the content of the first post, bore no relationship to the purpose of the thread in general. That's been corrected.

2 : " disconnect the content of discussion group threads from the title and in allowing moderators free rein in such behaviour" See 1, above.

Discussion groups, btw? What discussion? This has been - as has been pointed out on numerous occasions - an entirely one-sided campaign of black propaganda. Point me at the 'Millipanda' caricatures posted on here? Or, re the 'Fat Eck' comments, the references to the appearance of the somewhat less than photogenic Ms Lamont?

As LP has said, if there is a policy point to make on behalf of your political party, make it, please.

Who mentioned that Eck was Fat in this thread? This is a discussion on The Economist's article , Eck's response with some distraction being run as usual by other contributors.

The thread title has been changed by someone. Anyone unaware of the background would have no reason to think the thread title shown is the thread title chosen by me, the OP. That's simply wrong.

BTW. Dexter has his quotes mixed up (above).

Josef mixed them up when he removed the references to bloated Woad covered crayon wielding misogynists.
