Any new attractions, pubs or restaurants to visit?

Kind regards from Oslo.

Thanks St. Clair.
We're definitly going to Velvet Elvis for some burgers.

Noticed that the daytripper map was covering quite a large area, are there any of the outside-Glasgow places worth a visit? We have visited Lanark back in 2004, but maybe Motherwell has something to offer for instance?

Besides, we would love to see a local band (indie, punk, ska, 80's) in a local place. What are the best places to look out for good concerts?

And please pardon my english.

Thank you for resurrecting this thread Pegasusfleck otherwise I would have missed one the best thread's I've read, so far, on the Forum - informative, interesting, polite and friendly.

I hope you and your girlfriend enjoy your second trip to Glasgow.
I'm a Glaswegian living in Ireland and well put it this way Glasgow is much better fun than the whole of Ireland put together :D
Also, if I lost the road back to Glasgow I wouldn't mind finding my feet in Norway too.

Last year we just briefly visited the southside. Is the are around Queens Park any good?

A visit to Pollok Park and the Burrell Collection perhaps. You also have Bellahouston nearby and Scotland Street School has a great little tearoom in it.
