Old embroidered cap badge I bought recently, was used by very senior uniformed corpy staff, such as the trams, police & museums. It's mostly wire & silk thread, the fish scales are little discs of metal sewn on.
I have posted to the thread on viewtopic.php?f=3&t=10608&p=247365#p245805 a list of all l could find on 'Let Glasgow Flourish- Coat Of Arms'. As there was quite a lot and l did not want to fill up page after page of all l found.
