Did you photoshop them at all Sharon or was the light really that stunning?
Excellent photo too James, love it. I'm going to have to get to Anderston soon! Have some photos taken of the M8 from the top floor of the Milton hotel, will need to dig them out.

Nothing past a crop has been done to them. The light was just perfectly golden for a good half hour. Lovely.

I think I should read the manual for my camera to see if I can get shots like that... ashamed to say I've never taken it out of the box, and full auto mode is not getting me results.
Buggered if I can find my shots of the Kingston Bridge either.

An advert for the company building the Kingston from 1968. Got it from a book called "Glasgow:official handbook and industrial survey" produced by the Glasgow corporation. Loads of interesting stuff about the CDA plans. Available for perusal in the Glasgow room at the mitchell.
