Watching BBC Reporting Scotland last night; they were running a link about the BBC series "Waterloo Road" moving to Glasgow. They were interviewing my Ex Wife about the move (fair enough she may be a ruthless b@stard but she is good at her job) It was the new accent that made me sit up and go WTF. Someone who has lived all their life in Clydebank with the last couple of years in the West End to suddenly adopt an accent that is 80% English, 15% Scottish with 5% American thrown in for good measure is somewhat strange. I must be something that happens when you go on the telly.

Hope to see 'The Field of Blood' on tonight at 10.15pm on BBC1.
It has a later start time here in N.I. so I may record it and watch at a later date.
Two-part drama.

An aspiring journalist sets out to prove the innocence of a child who has murdered a toddler.
It is set in Glasgow in 1982 and if you are offended by Life on Mars-style sexism or bad language then probably
not for you.

I was watching some obscure satellite channel's programme of 9/11 conspiracy stuff presented by credulous zoomers, and have gone slightly cross-eyed under the strain. Good grief. Now happily watching Ice Road Truckers :)

Ice Road Truckers has a lot to answer for. Mainly my other half's burning desire to move to Canada and be one.

Might watch 'Hidden' which is on tonight at 9.00pm on BBC1.

Philip Glenister plays a solicitor who turns to a former client and part-time crook when he finds himself in
difficulties. It was filmed mostly in Belfast and parts of Co. Down though I think a few scenes were shot in London
and Paris.

Hideously over-orchestrated nonsense.

Check out the original, or Linda Thomson's take on it (and she, of all people, should know). Listen to Dave Burland's or even Dave Gilmour's version.

Transatlantic Sessions is a wholly artificial construct which is designed solely to bung a selected few a couple of quid and bears no relationship to grass-roots 'sessions'.
