Planet of The Apes is on Sky1 just now. Thought I'd look it up on IMDB and see what's what before watching it again.

I was completely amazed to read how much of the $100000000 budget was spent on make up for the film.

Surely they could have replaced Helena Bonham-Carter with that woman who plays Gail in Coronation Street and saved a bastard fortune.

Bizarrely or not, he also "voiced the Daleks in Doctor Who from 1967 to 1988, as well as the Cybermen and the Krotons."

Scared me and entertained me as a small child then :(

New episode of 'Case Histories' was on earlier.
There was a gruesome bit where the hero had to bite a man's nose in self defence as he was being strangled.
I think I should have covered my eyes at that point. 8O :o

Just been watching 'Luther' and my nerves are shot to pieces.
Scary stuff even though I had an idea what was coming next.

It really is a great drama, though to be honest, 'The Shadow Line' has to be the best bit o' telly in the last decade.
Prolly still available on 'watch again', btw.

Pee ess....'The Chicago Code' & 'Justified' are well worth a look.

No spoilers, VT, it really is an outstanding piece of drama, the cast alone is well worth the watching:
Christopher Eccleston.
Rafe Spall.
Stephen Rea.
Lesley Sharp.
David Schofield.
Robert Pugh.
Tobias Menzies.
Antony Sher.

Phew!

The supporting cast are first class too (& a script to die for)

To lower the tone a tad, "The Bubble" is on 'Dave' just now.

With Victoria Coren.
