SO as i was in town at lunchtime partaking of Border's 20% off books birthday offer, I popped into the Lighthouse to collect a couple of copies.

Only they wouldnt give me any.

For two reasons:

"It's not available until tomorrow"

and

"it's quite sexually explicit and we've not decided what to do about it yet"

Yikes!

In better news, all of Ronnie & Norrie's tours have sold out (and both get a plug in the What's On section of todays ET

I went in earlier this week to enquire about the leaflets and randomizer. The guy looked at me strangely and didn't seem to have much of an idea what i was talking about.I had to show him the page in the guide leaflet. I suggested to him that they might only be available later in in the week or from the weekend, and he agreed that that might be the case. Surely some better briefing for staff is needed.

Did Jim's piece about the lanes go in un-edited / un-censored?

I have also deposited hundreds of them in the Lighthiouse, so they can be picked up from there also.

Can I have 60 or so to hand out to my walkers next week, please?

Yup, got a few copies from there myself today. It looks fantastic I must say, well done Sharon!

...and when you collect it, they give you a questionnaire and pre-paid envelope about the BLOCK festival, asking what stuff you've done, what you liked, what you want to see more of.

Any complimentary comments about our leaflet would not go amiss to making sure we can make an even bigger splash and contribution next year.... ;)

I collected 60 copies to hand out on my three tours this week. But didn't even get one questionnaire ...

Or a bar of Block chocolate (a bargain at £1.85).

Looks fab. Big kudos to Sharon!

I spotted it ages ago, it's a cracker... And it LOOKS ok... But it's not!

I think Ronnie should be able to spot this, given a wee argument we had in the forums a while back!
