It also has the worlds only equestrian statue of Queenie Victoria and the world only revolving tower (its fine to boast that again now its fixed isnt it :?: 8O ). Do we not have the most public parke (per head of the population) than any city in Europe?

Only place in the world where more women die of lung cancer than breast cancer.

Sorry to burst your bubble, but type "five sided clock" into Google and you'll find that this is not true.

And, I guess, if you typed the French or German for "five sided clock" you would find them in France and Germany. And so on for other countries and languages.

Hi Ally, I still have the Millport book for you.

OK so we're loosing our uniqueness as we delve further.

I should have checked the clock and am presently chasitising myself as I type.

Talking of Millport Ronnie, I shall be departing for those shores on Thursday, to take in the yearly extravaganza that is the 'Millport Country & Western Festival'. Titter ye not my friends!

I don't even like C&W Music, but what a scream...... The island will be absolutely hoachin' and it's very amusing. A bunch of us have been going for the last 4 or 5 years.

I'll try and take some pics if I remain sober for long enough. Unlikely.

Guys, how'd you like to mosey on down to 'our' web site and forum and give it a little support, especially since the authorities have thrown a damper on the world record line dancing attempt that was planned for Millport this year:

Ah yes, I remember that now. I don't see myself ever collecting it so you'd be best to give it away to somebody else. If I remember correctly there were quite a few interested at the time I won it.

loving that avtar ally

Slash sure is amazing... and I'll be seeing him on Tuesday night when Velvet Revolver play the Carling Academy :D

Glasgow has the biggest rail network only underground outside of London??
In Glasgow, Moscow is just down the road?

Glasgow berth's the worlds only Ocean going Paddle Steamer??

We have the worlds highest Cinema and is the only place where eating a deep fried Mars bar is not considered as being hideous??
I can always rely on this forum to make myself feel about 10 times worse than I did before
