A gearometer is another name for a planchette (automatic writing device)

No C in Pollok ;-)

I liked the old one better, a bit of the same feeling I have for the old Kelvingrove. Spent hours in there, any excuse to get away from my cousins. That must be were the geekiness started.

My Mum used to walk my brother and me to the old transport museum and appart from the model trail (which im told got "lost") I remember the carpet in the cafe. It was a weird colour with lots of steam trains weaved into it as far as I can recall.
Weird what you remember, isnt it?

The train set is still there, I saw it and many other wonderful things(including the giraffe yes you read right the giraffe) when I worked there as a volunteer conservator a couple of years ago.
