Microsoft Photosynth

Postby Dave » Wed Jul 16, 2008 2:20 pm

I just got mail from Microsoft, amongst the articles was this interesting wee ditty

http://labs.live.com/photosynth/default.html

Not only does it look like a fairly slick photo tool but it also details Doges Palace which has a special place in Glasgow heart.

Enjoy

You can now use Photosynth by downloading the small app here http://photosynth.net/default.aspx

I was a bit skeptical but after a few seconds of generating 3 pictures the results are really good. Just need to take some pics that will utilise it now.

Here's my first attempt.

Well I'm impressed so far. A little buggy but that's definitely expected.

Tomorrow, weather permitting, I'll try and do a 20+ shot of The People's Palace and see how that turns out.
