A FLEET of skinny buses is about to take to the streets of Glasgow.
The 20 vehicles costing £1.7million are the first of their kind in the UK.
Because they are narrower than standard buses they will be able to provide transport for people living in narrow streets clogged with parked cars.
But as well as operating as part of the Dial-A-Bus scheme, they can also be quickly converted by the driver to operate as standard buses on normal bus routes or for groups of disabled people.
The buses look like they have 'shrunk in wash'
