I panicked the first time I walked across that bridge and didn't know why my balance was going all funny.

Nope. When did we all start asking each other for permission to "quote" photographs already posted on here. Did you get a humour by pass as well as a personality by pass?

No need to answer that.

Mmmm..it's a good photo i must have saved it onto my photobucket account. I can't recall if i got it from Flickr or here or another Forum.

I did not know that you were so sensitive about seeing your handy work reproduced. Quite complimentary i would have thought. Do you see yourself as a bit of a Photographer? I remember the one you took of the fountain in front of the Peeps Palace. That was stunning.

If you want to discuss further PM me and we can meet up real soon for a Coffee to discuss. I would like that. Any more to say about it and we should stick to PM's the thread after all is getting a bit clogged up.

Cheers.

Well, I'd slag the thing off some more but I'm afraid Dex'll come and get me. I do hope they sort it out soon though, as I dare say everybody's got used to it being there to use...

Nah, all the parking on the pavements puts me off. I tend to use the Bell's bridge.

Ach, it's mainly my bad habit of being offended by modernity on a personal level. I can say, in all honesty and in a spirit of magnanimity, I've seen worse  A bridge of any sort is a damn sight better than no bridge.

As for iconic, so was the Hindenburg  (and the first Tay Bridge...)

Ha - too true. The first objective of any metropolitan infrastructure should be functionality, of which the Squinty Bridge so fails ... but a least with all that purple light the structure looks pretty, even if we can't use it. And at least it's in a useful place...

At least it'll look bonny till the eager beaver engineers figure it out. (That's not meant as sarcastically as it comes across in writing :| ) With luck, they'll get it sorted soon :)

I just noticed I got me a stripe too. Man, I've got too much spare time...
