Nah, I don't get it either. OK, it's in the eye of the beholder and all that, and art isn't supposed to be a popularity contest, bbbut... :?

I guess what I'm trying to say is, yeah it is indeed a lot of shite, and I earnestly wish I'd paid more attention in art class at school so's I'd now be earning megabucks for glueing a polished turd on a fecking stick.
All the world seems in tune on a Spring afternoon, when we're poisoning pigeons in the park.

No, you don't need art school. It's art if you call it art. Get a pot out the cupboard and a wooden spoon out the drawers and leave the spoon in the pot and call it 'A Study In Anticipation' or some pish like that.

It's dead easy, then you just need to source the pretentious mugs that will part with their dough for your art.

If you have the confidence, the front to do it, some trumpet will give you money.

You are all correct...the assumption by the hierarchy that a 'famed' artist cannot produce anything other than real art....is PISH...!
But of bigger concern is whether there was a shortlisted of this PISH, and Paterson's was the best....the mind boggles at that...!
Title for this contraption.....

ALSO.... it's not even out front where passers by could see it, it's round the side, next to the water. So who will see it? The folk using the seaplane? So....................nobody then.

I saw it tonight getting off my bus, and it was only because I was about a foot off the ground that I could see over the wall and spot it. You'll never see it from the road. What a piece of crap in a stupid place.

There ye go, an irreverent nickname!

It represents the topography of Scotland a wide range of different areas. I am not saying which shape is where - there is town and country, Highlands and islands."

right ok he doesnt know what went where ... what he really means he made it up to get £350,000 grand out of them numpties at BBC???
