I spotted this a few weeks ago and it was mentioned in another thread with a suggestion that it was an early 1950s shop.
I checked the valuation roll for 1953 but it doesn't date from then. We have a number of snaps of this part of Maryhill Rd. taken in 1932 when the shops were refurbished; it may date from then. If anyone is losing sleep over it I can check the earlier rolls.
