Online photo prints ?

Postby glasgowken » Thu Feb 15, 2007 8:20 pm

I was wondering is there such a thing as an online service where I can upload digital photos to their site, and have prints sent to me ?
I know this can be done in stores, but i'm looking for a totally online service.

Apologies (again) for my lack of knowledge about this stuff.
If this sort of thing does exist, does anyone have recommendations.

There are lots of people offering this service. I have used Boots and it is pretty good. You download a bit of software to upload the pictures to their server and define what size, how many etc. A few days later the nice postman shows up with the prints.

Loxley Colour based right here in Glasgow have their own F.O.C software. It basically has all their products which you click on, giving you template. You then drag the files you require into the template & 24 hours later the prints should be ready.

That looks amazing. I'm giving it a crack as soon as I have a tenner spare.

Not tried Loxley, but always thought I should. I used to take my colour films up there to develop, until they decided that they weren't going to open on Saturdays anymore.
