Jack Bruce recorded an album called "Harmony Row". Frankie Miller had a number of songs with Glasgow references (eg "Drunken Nights in the City") and of course the one and only Alex Harvey had a few - anyone agree with me that the song "Buff's Bar Blues" refers to the Buff's Club on Sauchiehall Street?
Michael Marra wrote "Mother Glasgow" about this fair city, and Jim Wilkie had a song called "Glasgow" - he wrote one of my favourite lines: "Oh Mister McEwan, you will be my ruin/ Please take me out drinking tonight".
On a different planet, there was the old BBC Scotland signature tune, "Will ye gang to Kelvingrove, bonnie lassie oh".
