Collection of usefull bits of code

Postby mrsam » Tue May 05, 2009 10:36 pm

Any chance of a topic that has collections of code and explanations, I know the easy stuff but have taken years to discver (by chance) that [b] gives bold and [i] is italics.

What other are out ther and how do I change font size in posts

Mr Sam

To Start (remenber that the second has a /preceeding the letter)

[b] - is bold
[i] - is italic
[u] - is underline
Hmmm I wonder what happens if i press that lever.... Ahh It operates that shiny new plug socket!

Looks like you're heading for the coveted 'Unobservant HG member of the week' award there, Sam. :)

Hit the 'Post Reply' button, and choose from the array of buttons immediately above the text box. There's a preset of five font sizes, but you can adjust the number in the box for a custom size. The ones below are the preset 'tiny' (size=50) and small (size = 85) with a custom size in between (size=70).

You can't go above 200. You can either choose the font before you start typing and type the text between the tags, or highlight existing text and apply.

Alternatively, just hit the quote button for a 'How did they do that?' preview.
