Quick question about intra-forum messages

Someone PM'ed me and I want to make sure they got the message. Theres a copy sitting in my outbox but not in my sent items.

How can I be sure its send, as I dont want this person thinking I'm ungrateful.

As I recall, it will stay in your outbox until the recipient opens the message and reads it, after which it will appear in your sent mail box.

i.e. they haven't read it yet.
