just a wee update. I have managed to procure a 2.5" hard disk and caddy and have scoured the web for lots of useful apps to run from it - including Portable Firefox mentioned above. When I imported the settings from IE on my work machine it also picked up all the proxy details and so now I seem to be able to firefox the web at work.


..but i still think the scroll bar css should be changed to something less invisible for those not willing or able to change browsers ;)

well said, at college we're barely allowed on the internet never mind firefox (which i use at home)
we're also not allowed to install anything and we're computing students

Theres a big long list of things that should be done... this might be one of them.

Use the arrow keys or page up or down or the space bar to scroll... see, lots of options!

Why else would a web designer include such a feature that could be changed in less than 60 seconds?
