How do i link and image to a url in my sig?

You can use the [img] tag to link to a picture in your signature in the same way you would post a photograph in the forum.

[img]then%20the%20url%20of%20your%20image[/img]

It's probably a good idea to keep the image small though as it'll load under every post you make in the forum.

Actually Mr First Bus Driver.... could you maybe just whack all those images back out of cour sig.

It make the forums untidy and hard to read Im afraid.

When I get time i will be implememnting a hack that blocks the posting of both images and links in sigs. This isnae a place for promotion but for discussion!!!

:)...dinae worry about it. Ive had to get a few folks to clean up their sigs...and all have without moaning!

I really need to do that hack and mauybe write up some guidelines....

I think our admins have shown unreserved tact and patience first with the avatar and now the sig, but a quiet word or a reach for the IP ban option is in order (ex forum ad victim).
